The Living Patriot® 9/11 Glowing Tribute was created to keep the memory of September 11, 2001—and the people we lost that day—visible for generations to come.
The names of every victim are individually laser engraved into layers of crystal-clear and illuminated blue acrylic representing the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
The names are intentionally arranged as part of the design: vertical lines recall the distinctive exterior of the Twin Towers, concentric shapes form the Pentagon, and a gentle curve represents the Pennsylvania field where Flight 93 came down.
When illuminated, thousands of individual names emerge in the light. What can seem from a distance like a familiar symbol of September 11 becomes, up close, a reminder that behind that history were individual people, families and lives forever changed.
